The Letter Black, and Smashing Satellites.
== History ==

George Cappellini Sr. is a marketing and promotion executive with a 30-year track record of establishing high-profile artists in the music industry. From 1986-1995, Cappellini served as the Vice President of Promotions for Geffen Records, managing 22 field personnel at all formats of radio promotion: Pop, Adult Contemporary, Rock, and Modern. While there, he helped launch and develop the careers of Guns N’ Roses, Tesla, Whitesnake, The Black Crows, Michael W. Smith and Cher. Additionally, he helped to strengthen the prominence of artists such as Don Henley, Robbie Robertson, Aerosmith and Peter Gabriel by developing strategies to exploit all forms of radio and media.
From 1996-2004, Cappellini was the Vice President of Rock Promotion at Elektra. He created innovative branding, marketing and promotional opportunities for all rock bands on the label, including Metallica, AC/DC, Staind, Pantera, Jackson Browne, The Doors, Mötley Crüe and Phish. He also developed launch strategies for new artists including Jet, Space Hog, Damageplan and Down.
G&G Entertainment was founded by George Cappellini Sr. in 2004 with the mission to consult major record labels and musicians in the radio world. "Sr." now consults majors label rock promotion departments such as Roadrunner, Island, Epic, Columbia and RCA. In 2009, his son George Cappellini Jr. joined the company full-time after beginning his career in the music industry as an administrative assistant at Columbia Records Rock Department then joining Island/Def Jam as a Regional Promotion Representative from 2006-2009. "Jr" now runs the Rock Radio department at eOne Entertainment, as well as doing radio consulting for ILG, Island, Executive Group, Rhino, and Century Media.
George Jr. discovered Pop Evil in 2007 as a local band making major noise on WGRD 97.9 in Grand Rapids, MI. He worked with the band to develop a presentable demo disc for "Sr" to hear and when presented to “Sr” for the first time in 2007, George Sr. instantly recognized Pop Evil's raw talent and fell in love with their sound. Along with George Jr., the father-son team decided to take Pop Evil under their wing and subsequently helped them land a major record deal with Universal Republic in 2009 after being upstreamed from Pazzo Music (Fontana Distribution)(2009). This was the first act signed to management under G&G Entertainment.
In 2012 G&G signs a Swedish Metal band named Avatar.
The newest signings to G&G are rock group The Letter Black & Smashing Satellites.
